ENERGY-SAVING FUNCTIONS

All Rointe radiators include energy-saving features that help reduce consumption, like Open Windows.

This function is activated when the product probe detects a decrease in the ambient temperature of at least 4°C within a 30 minute time period. It then automatically activates the Anti-frost mode for a period of 2 hours, preventing excessive consumption.

The Kyros radiator includes Fuzzy Logic Energy Control – our patented technology designed to maximise efficiency and keep temperatures stable.

This specialised technology takes energy optimisation to the next level. It improves the energy management required to maintain stable temperatures within a variation of ± 0.25ºC. It also predicts the energy needed to reach the set temperature, maximising cost savings.

Studies carried out by independent labs have proved that Fuzzy Logic Energy Control only uses 38% of the product nominal power on average (once steady working rate achieved) compared to a heating product without a thermostat.

This technology guarantees Rointe Kyros radiators reach maximum comfort, with minimum consumption.

INFRARED REMOTE CONTROL

Complete control from your sofa.

The infrared AIR Control remote arose from the need to allow complete control of all Rointe products via a single device. Offering the possibility of creating special programs and schedules for the radiators, towel rails and electric water heaters, as well as controlling the temperature or viewing the active modes of these products.

This intelligent remote control allows you to create your own programs and send them to all products in your Rointe heating installation. It will help save energy by managing switch on/off of your products and heat according to your needs.

NAVIGATION MENUS

Easy programming for Kyros radiators.

The new access menu on the Kyros radiator has been designed by Rointe’s R & D department for easy programming. Using smart icons, you can access all the functions quickly to keep your heating perfectly programmed.

The Kyros radiator includes a compact keypad with mechanical buttons and a 1.77″ TFT screen for easier control.

USER MODE

Save energy by setting custom limits.

Kyros radiators now include a new operating mode, User mode.

This function allows you to set a personalised temperature range with a minimum and maximum temperature and locked by a password. It’s a useful function as it restricts the selectable temperatures and avoids energy waste.

What does this mean?

By default, the temperatures limits for the Eco and Comfort working modes are 7.5ºC and 30ºC above respectively. Thanks to User Mode, we can modify these limits by establishing new ones (such as 10ºC and 21ºC).

For example, setting 21ºC for the Comfort mode and 18ºC for the Eco mode, the user can only move between temperatures in this range.

What is this function for?

This function helps saves energy by preventing temperature selection above 21ºC (in the example shown) by anyone who interacts with the product. Thanks to the establishment of these new limits, you can avoid the incorrect use of your Kyros radiators, which could cause an increase in consumption and energy bills.

User mode is ideal for installations in public places such as hotels or schools, only allowing users to modify the radiator temperature within a limited range.

The new generation Kyros radiators include new editable pre-installed programs so you can quickly choose the program that best suits your heating needs.

It’s ideal for those who wish to control their system easily and without complications, by applying pre-installed programs that avoid having to invest time programming the product. The pre-installed programs are ready for use and are 100% customisable. They can be modified easily to adapt to your lifestyle.

Plus with the Rointe BASIC Control infrared remote it’s even easier to access and select the pre-programming option you need.

A1 - COMMON LIFESTYLE

For everyday lives. Programming includes Comfort mode during the early morning and evening, but Eco mode when you leave for work.

A2 - SPLIT SHIFT

Designed for workers on split shifts or those that come and go throughout the day.

A3 - HOME LIFE

Reduced height for smaller spaces.

Within the Kyros range, we have designed a reduced height radiator (only 420 mm high) – an space-saving solution for smaller spaces and walls.

The Kyros short is ideal for conservatories, balconies or walls where, due to its height, a radiator with normal dimensions cannot be installed.
