The D Series electric WiFi radiator is the first in the world to include a built-in WiFi module that allows you to connect an entire installation without intermediate gateways. These high power WiFi modules can reach up to 100m without obstacles and our servers have a reliability of over 99%. With the free Rointe Connect app, your smartphone, tablet or PC will give you easy control of your installation. You can adjust temperatures, lock the products remotely and control the expenditure on a daily basis from home, your office or on the go. With the app, you can divide the property into rooms, floors or bespoke zones and can control to suit your needs. You can program activation and shutoff of your radiators at whatever time you desire, maximising your energy savings. Plus the app allows you to view real-time energy consumption reports by day, month or year along with the ability to configure different kWh prices for each hour of the day. It will also send warnings, notifications and recommendations direct to your device so you can save on consumption. They also work with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

⁽¹⁾ In tests performed by independent laboratories (under the same parameters), a radiator with Fuzzy Logic Energy Control technology and another with Optimizer Energy Plus were compared. A difference in energy consumption of 6.3% was obtained. This saving allows the radiators with Fuzzy Logic Energy Control to use an average power of only 38% of the nominal power. We define this as the equivalent consumption coefficient. If we multiply the nominal power by the equivalent consumption coefficient, we obtain the effective power.

HELP WITH INSTALLATION

If you need help with installation, check out our handy video to see how easy it is to install. Plus here are some recommendations to take into account:

- Rointe towel rails are designed to be wall-mounted vertically, with fixings, brackets and a template supplied.
- Rointe towel rails must be installed at least 25 cm from the floor.

- Rointe towel rails come with a 1.4 m cable, but not a plug. In bathrooms, power sockets must be installed at least 3 m from the bath or shower in accordance with Part P Building Regs, so we recommend you use a qualified electrician to “hardwire” your towel rail.

- As Rointe towel rails are IP44 or IP54 rated, they can be installed in:

· Zone 1 – Above the bath or shower to a height of 2.25m. IP rating must protect against water spray from all directions (IPX4/IP44).

· Zone 2 – The area stretching to 0.6m outside of the bath or shower. IP rating must protect against water spray from all directions (IPX4/IP44).

· Outside Zones – (Previously Zone 3, which was removed under the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations BS7671) No IP Rating required.

Radiator installation recommendations:

Rointe radiators are designed to be wall-mounted, with fixings, brackets and a template supplied as part of the product.

Rointe radiators must be positioned horizontally, but not under a window. This would affect the thermostat reading, potentially causing excessive consumption.

Rointe radiators sized for a particular room should not be installed in another unless the conditions (such as size, ceiling height etc.) are extremely similar.

Rointe radiators are best placed on a wall away from drafts like doors and with sufficient space so the radiator won’t be obscured by furniture. This allows the best natural convection cycle for even and efficient heat.
